SFI Report Shows Positive Results for Irish Science

There’s good news for Irish science.

According to Science Foundation Ireland (SFI)’s 2011 annual report, the country ranks as one of the top 20 nations in which to perform research.

Key to this is the collaboration between SFI – the official science agency of the Irish government – and private companies. The numbers also show a 15% increase in scientific publications by SFI supported researchers.
