Our area of particular expertise is in cardiovascular clinical trials measuring specialised pharmcodynamic endpoints, where our support maximises data quality and trial efficiency. This is based on the experience of our founding Director, Prof Desmond Fitzgerald, and Java’s track record in studies of antiplatelet, antihypertensive and other cardiovascular agents. Our services include:

Platelet function
We provide a unique service of training, support and data review to improve the quality of platelet function assays at phase I-III clinical trial sites. With particular expertise in this area, Java also carries out assay development, trial design and data interpretation.

Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM)
Continuous blood pressure monitoring provides more accurate data in hypertension studies, allowing smaller, better trials. In collaboration with dabl, Java provides complete support for trials using ABPM, from design and management through data acquisition and interpretation.

Consultancy
Expert consultancy on all aspects of drug development in the cardiovascular area, including trial design, first in man studies, biomarker development and data analysis.
