Java wishes to advise all its clients that, on 1 July 2014, the Irish Medicine Board (IMB) will change its name to the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA). Established in 1996, the IMB has been of great service to the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. Over these past 18 years their regulatory remit has expanded to include other health products as well as a number of other health-related functions.
The new name reflects more clearly the new scope of their work, functions and responsibilities across the health products sector.
