The Convergence Council will host a one-day free conference at Dublin’s Burlington Hotel on Friday, 13th June 2012. Titled “Converging in Ireland – The Intersection of Healthcare and Information Technology – Harnessing Ireland’s Unique Potential”, the event is the second in a series of programmes centered around the theme of ‘convergence’. Specifically, it will seek to explore the roles of medical technology and Connected Health in the healthcare industry.
The Convergence Council is a composite of groups including: IDA Ireland, Enterprise Ireland, Science Foundation Ireland, Shannon Development, Forfás, the Chief Scientific Adviser to the Government, and the Irish Business and Employers Confederation Executive Staff.
